We’re committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where every voice is valued, and different perspectives fuel our innovation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a highly experienced Product Manager to lead the development of numa’s in-house Revenue Management System (RMS – the platform that automates room pricing and forecasting decisions).

This is a foundational role — you will set the product vision, define the roadmap, and build the team from the ground up. You’ll work closely with engineers and data scientists to develop algorithms and automation that improve pricing performance across numa’s large, fast-growing European hospitality portfolio with hundreds of millions in annual revenue

You will lead a culture of experimentation and controlled risk-taking, continuously testing pricing hypotheses through A/B experiments and agile iteration. Your mission: make numa’s pricing engine the fastest-learning and most adaptive RMS in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the RMS roadmap – define, prioritize, and deliver features that improve pricing performance, automation, and transparency.
  • Build and lead a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and analysts – you’ll be involved in hiring and shaping key roles.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation – design and evaluate A/B tests to validate pricing strategies and model changes.
  • Drive controlled risk-taking – balance bold pricing moves with measurable impact and learning.
  • Translate commercial strategy into product design – turn elasticity, segmentation, and revenue goals into production-ready pricing algorithms and core business rules.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Leadership to align on business strategy and portfolio pricing.
  • Integrate external data sources (OTAs, competitor rates, demand signals, campaigns) to enhance pricing accuracy.
  • Work fast and agile – build MVPs, measure, iterate, and scale proven solutions.
  • Ensure transparency – all pricing decisions must be explainable and data-backed.

Key Success Metrics

  • RevPAR uplift: +3–5% vs. off-the-shelf RMS alternatives (RevPAR = Revenue per Available Room).
  • Length of Stay (LOS): >3.5 nights average.
  • Direct Share & Demand Diversification: ≥50% of total bookings.
  • Corporate Business Share: ≥25% of revenue via optimized corporate pricing strategy.
  • Pricing Automation: >90% of inventory priced dynamically.
  • Forecast Accuracy: +-3% forecast accuracy

Launch Automation: Rateplan & Pricing setup of a new property within 24h

  • Experimentation Speed: ≤2-week A/B test cycle from idea to result.

ABOUT YOU

  • 8+ years in Product Management, with 3+ years leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience building pricing, yield management, or forecasting systems (hospitality, travel, mobility, or marketplaces).
  • Deep knowledge of revenue management principles – elasticity, booking curves, segmentation.
  • Deep Analytical & Econometric Grounding: Proven ability to structure complex, multi-variable optimization problems and define A/B testing methodologies for causal inference. A Master's degree or strong applied experience in Economics, Econometrics, or a highly quantitative field is strongly preferred.
  • Technical fluency – comfortable with data pipelines, ML models, and APIs. Experience should include practical application of time-series forecasting and Tree-based algorithms (e.g., XGBoost), and an understanding of when complex deep learning models are an inappropriate overhead.
  • Strong– experienced in testing frameworks and data validation.
  • Excellent communicator – can bridge business goals with technical delivery.
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive – thrives in high-speed, high-ownership environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in hospitality tech (RMS, PMS, OTA, channel management).
  • Background in SQL, Python, or Looker.
  • Experience with AI and machine learning–driven automation.
  • Track record of building products and teams from zero to scale.
