Senior/Lead Backend Engineer (Product/ System/ SaaS/ PaaS)

We are currently looking for a strong Backend Engineer with solid architectural understanding and hands-on development experience. You will play a key role in designing and developing sophisticated SaaS/PaaS applications that prioritize performance, usability, and accessibility, and building & leading your own team in the Vietnam office.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain robust, high-performing microservices using Java Spring Boot.
  • Design and implement scalable and distributed solutions to meet complex business requirements.
  • Utilize PostgreSQL for database management and integration within services.
  • Create and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes (K8S).
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Develop comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and integration testing, to ensure reliable and secure applications.
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability by following best practices and conducting regular code reviews.

Requirements:
  • Strong Java and Spring Boot experience
  • Strong software architecture understanding
  • Experience with distributed systems / microservice architectures
  • Good understanding of containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • PostgreSQL or other relational database experience
  • Experience designing scalable backend systems and APIs
  • Ability to work across backend and infrastructure topics when needed
  • Experience building SaaS/PaaS products.
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM-related technologies is a plus
  • Experience with DevOps, cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, or platform engineering is a strong advantage
