Senior/Lead Backend Developer

Summary: We're on the lookout for a talented Backend Developer to join our client's dynamic team and help them scale their high-traffic, minimalist infrastructure! They own a platform that enables individuals and organizations to host and share various types of files and material online. Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a small technical team (three junior to mid-level developers)
• Take ownership of and optimize the tech stack that serves millions worldwide.
• Work closely with the product manager, CEO/CTO, and designer to enhance the user experience.
• Implement and maintain scalable backend solutions that make a difference.
• Play a key role in continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Required Skills:

• Ability to work within the UK timezone.
• Proficient in AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, EC2, CloudFront, and SQS.
• Experience with Stripe APIs.
• Comfortable with DevOps practices.
• 5+ years of backend development experience using NodeJS (Express), DynamoDB
• Bonus points for some experience with ReactJS
