Senior/Lead Accountant

YOUR MISSION:

Join us in reimagining customer experience with Agentic AI. As Senior Accountant (f/m/d) at Parloa, your mission is to build scalable, efficient, and compliant accounting processes that support our rapid global growth from our Berlin or Munich office. In this high-impact role, you'll lead initiatives across technical accounting, reporting, and systems to ensure we meet the highest standards. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams, you will help transform our finance operations into a world-class, AI-driven function.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Design and implement scalable accounting policies and internal controls in line with IFRS & HGB
• Build systems and reports to streamline the month-end close process
• Prepare, review, and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules
• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit requests
• Analyze monthly variances and explain business drivers
• Collaborate with FP&A and cross-functional teams to solve process issues and drive improvements
• Partner with the Finance Leadership on ad hoc projects and general corporate accounting matters

Our Finance Stack:

NetSuite, Airbase, Navan, Salesforce

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Degree in Accounting or a similar field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in tech or public/private accounting
• Deep knowledge of HGB; IFRS/US GAAP is a strong plus
• Strong analytical skills and a track record of building efficient, scalable processes
• Detail-oriented, independent, and proactive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with NetSuite is a plus
• Experience with inter-company transactions, consolidation, and foreign currency translation
• Fluent (C1+) in German and English
