The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior LAMP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining web applications using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and WordPress. The role requires leadership, collaboration, and a deep understanding of complex systems and architectures.

Responsibilities

  •     Lead the development of dynamic and scalable web applications using LAMP technologies .
  •     Customize and develop plugins, themes, and APIs in WordPress.
  •     Design and implement database schemas and optimize queries for performance.
  •     Conduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback to junior developers.
  •     Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the full stack.
  •     Collaborate with front-end developers to implement responsive designs.
  •     Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  •     Ensure cross-platform compatibility and adherence to web standards.
  •     Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, and deployment.
  •     Work with project managers to understand project requirements and provide technical solutions.
  •     Mentor junior developers and assist with skill development.

Required Qualifaications 

  •     7-8 years of hands-on experience with the LAMP stack .
  •     3+ years of experience working with WordPress, including theme and plugin development.
  •     Knowledge of PHP and its frameworks
  •     Proficiency in  MySQL, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  •     Experience with noSql databases like mongodb
  •     Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC architecture.
  •     Solid experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including jQuery).
  •     Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  •     Familiarity with server configurations and optimizations.
  •     Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
  •     Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  •     Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  •     Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
  •     Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker).
  •     Experience with Agile methodologies.
  •     Knowledge of security best practices in web development.
