Senior KDB+ Developer

We are looking for an experienced (+6 years) kdb+ Developer to join our team to work on Cash Equities electronic trading platform, which is delivered globally.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to kdb analytics stack. You will ensure every transaction and signal is captured and provides foundation and assistance of decision making process by business and algorithms. You'll work closely with IT and Quant teams at each stage of the application lifecycle from discussing business requirements till delivery and beyond.

Main Tasks:

• Participate in an agile based software development life-cycle including technical analysis, documentation, development, testing and code reviews.    
• Collaborate with the production support team for maintenance  troubleshooting and release management.
• Propose and provide feedback from experience/knowledge on architecture, design, technology choices and technology direction of the platform as well as on suitable DevOps practices.                       

Technical Skills:

• At least 5 years software development experience with kdb+ core.
• Strong understanding of tick-architecture and other patterns of kdb applications.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of programming best practices, design patterns.

Language Skills

• English - fluent.

Location: Hybrid working model in Lisbon.
