Requirements

What You Will Do:

• Work on specific problem spaces critical to the client’s needs, with opportunities to switch teams as both you and our fast-paced business evolve.

• Utilize cloud technologies, primarily AWS, to develop, deploy, and scale services.

• Participate in the full project lifecycle _ from concept and design to deployment and ongoing maintenance - ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the client’s organization to align on integrations and optimize overall system architecture.

• Drive a strong engineering culture focused on code quality, best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and mitigate potential issues in distributed and financial systems.

• Work in small, autonomous teams with short release cycles and a strong sense of ownership.

Who You Are:

• Proficient in JavaScript, with strong hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js (e.g., Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks).

• Experienced with PostgreSQL and designing, architecting, and building reliable, scalable backend systems.

• Comfortable working with cloud technologies, particularly AWS (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).

• Familiar with distributed systems and financial-domain challenges, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues early.

• A strong communicator who can effectively collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders across teams.

• Fluent in verbal and written English, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts.
