Ideal Candidate Profile 

  • Senior technologist who prefers oversight, evaluation, and advisory work over day-to-day development. 
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and documenting clear, actionable findings. 
  • Detail-oriented, independent, and trusted to provide unbiased technical judgment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field. 
  • 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT systems in technical leadership, architecture, or oversight role. 
  • Experience performing or supporting Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V), technical assessments, or system reviews. 
  • Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Agile and hybrid environments. 
  • Experience identifying and assessing technical risk in complex systems. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences. 
  • Ability to work independently and provide objective, well-documented recommendations. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting federal government IT systems, particularly in civilian agencies. 
  • Familiarity with federal IT governance, compliance, or oversight processes. 
  • Experience reviewing system documentation, test results, and operational metrics.
