What You’ll Do as a Senior IT Systems Administrator at Arteris
Join our innovative team and help shape the future of semiconductor technology, specifically system-on-chip (SoC) and chiplets. In this role, as a Senior IT Systems Administrator, you will contribute to collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impact across cutting-edge products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to management of all IT systems, storage, backups, and cloud applications
  • Remote end user support of Windows, Mac, and Linux systems
  • Maintain engineering resources, CI/CD infrastructure online and up-to-date, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, and other applications
  • Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
  • Autonomously lead and drive IT projects to completion across all systems and services
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
  • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
  • Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
  • Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
  • Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
  • Managing IT service tickets
  • Experience Requirements / Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of hypervisor server virtualization.  Example: VMWare vSphere/ESX, ProxMox, Nutanix
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies including switch and firewall configuration
  • 5-10 years of Linux, Windows, and Mac systems administration
  • Strong knowledge of HPC grid scheduling, Active Directory/LDAP, FlexLM licensing
  • Strong knowledge and experience with maintaining EDA tools in a multi user/multi version environment
  • Strong network/server/storage optimization techniques and root cause analysis
  • Strong knowledge of Storage technologies (Netapp/Dell)
  • Knowledge of Office365, Crowdstrike, Druva, Zoom, Mimecast, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Atlassian product suite
  • Knowledge of Sun Grid Engine, Slurm
  • Knowledge of CI/CD process and ability to support underlying applications and services
  • Fluent in French and English required
 Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent displayed experience
Estimated Base Salary 

Estimated salary: 55,000 to 70,000 EUR gross annually.
