Senior IT Cloud Administrator (m/f/d)

TLDR

Manage and optimize Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and ensure system stability, while implementing governance, compliance and performing root-cause analysis.

We are a specialty vaccine company that develops, manufactures, and commercializes prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases addressing unmet medical needs. We take a highly specialized and targeted approach, applying our deep expertise across multiple vaccine modalities, focused on providing either first-, best- or only-in-class vaccine solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure stability and high availability
  • Configure security, identity, and access management using Microsoft Entra ID
  • Monitor cloud systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root-cause analysis
  • Implement and manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions for cloud systems
  • Apply governance, compliance, and policy controls across cloud environments.
  • Optimize cloud performance, capacity, licenses and cost management
  • Perform system updates, patching, and lifecycle management of cloud resources
  • System administration for assigned systems

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in hybrid Microsoft (on-prem & cloud) environments
  • Hands-on Microsoft 365 administration, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Experience with hybrid identity (Azure AD Connect, SSO, MFA) and Azure portal administration
  • Good knowledge of on-prem Microsoft servers and PowerShell automation
  • Familiarity with Microsoft security & compliance (Conditional Access, DLP, eDiscovery, Purview)
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work independently
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 52.000 gross per year based on full-time employment. However our salaries are market oriented and in line with your qualifications and experience.
