Senior | IT Audit | Audit & Assurance

As a Senior IT Audit professional with Ziphire.hr, you will play a critical role in our Audit & Assurance team, providing comprehensive assessments of IT systems, processes, and controls. Your expertise will support clients in identifying risks, ensuring compliance, and enhancing their overall IT governance framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct IT audits and assessments for various clients and industries, focusing on operational processes, information security, systems integrity, and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls, identifying gaps and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that technology and business processes align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed audit reports that clearly articulate findings, risks, and recommendations, and present them to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on the latest IT audit standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance audit methodologies.
• Mentor junior auditors and provide training to support professional development within the team.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights on emerging technologies, risks, and trends affecting the IT landscape.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or certification (CISA, CISSP, CPA) is preferred.

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in IT audit, risk management, or related fields, preferably within consulting or professional services.

• Strong knowledge of IT controls, compliance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001), and risk assessment methodologies.

• Proven ability to conduct audits independently and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

• Familiarity with auditing tools and software is a plus.
