About the role

As a Senior IT Administrator, you will be a key member of our IT department, responsible for the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our company's information systems. You will provide technical leadership, mentor junior staff, and manage complex projects to ensure our technology supports our business objectives.

What You'll do

  • Manage and maintain the company’s device infrastructure (Windows,MacOS, Linux).
  • Oversee and administer cloud environments (e.g.,Google Workspace,Google Cloud Console, Azure).
  • Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all network services, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Develop, implement, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols across various systems.
  • Provide advanced-level support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
  • Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior IT staff as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with company security policies and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a progressive IT Administrator or similar role.
  • Extensive experience with administration technologies (e.g., GWS,GCP, Azure).
  • Proven expertise in managing enterprise-level network infrastructures.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA Security+).
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with SSO, Gsuite, MDM, IaaS, Saas systems administration.
