The Senior Investment Associate will build sophisticated financial models, prepare valuation analyses, and deliver data-driven recommendations to support strategic roll-ups and portfolio management initiatives. Accountabilities:
Lead due diligence on potential acquisition targets, preparing clear, actionable investment recommendations for senior leadership
Build and maintain advanced Excel-based financial models to evaluate revenue synergies, cost optimizations, and integration scenarios
Perform valuation analyses including DCF, comparable transactions, precedent M&A, and scenario modeling to inform acquisition decisions and monitor portfolio performance
Collaborate with the origination team to identify, evaluate, and execute on strategic acquisition opportunities
Support deal structuring, negotiation, and post-acquisition integration planning across multiple concurrent transactions
Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, technology, and marketing to support transaction execution, underwriting, and portfolio management initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
6+ years of experience in investment banking, M&A, or private equity, with direct involvement in executing transactions from sourcing through closing
Proven track record in buy-side M&A, ideally with experience in roll-up strategies, multi-site acquisitions, or consolidation plays
Strong proficiency in financial statement analysis, Excel-based modeling, and enterprise valuation methodologies
Highly analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to independently manage deal workstreams in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex analyses to technical and non-technical stakeholders
