We are seeking a talented and experienced Instructional Designer to drive the development and design within our Learning Management System (LMS). You'll be instrumental in modernizing and enhancing the utilization of our LMS in close coordination with our internal Content Management System (CMS). This is a unique opportunity to create engaging, high-quality learning experiences that cover critical technical and compliance topics for our global teams.
This role offers a permanent, indefinite-term contract and is fully remote.
As an Instructional Designer, your main responsibilities will include:
Design and Development: Create engaging and effective user and learning experiences across various technical and compliance subjects.
LMS/CMS Enhancement: Help modernize and enhance the utilization of our LMS, ensuring seamless coordination and integration with the internal CMS.
eLearning Authoring: Utilize the Articulate Suite (Storyline and RISE) to develop SCORM-compliant content, applying expertise in instructional design, UX principles, and storyboarding.
Customization and Interactivity: Apply proficiency in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript to customize interactive learning blocks and enhance content functionality.
Content Maintenance: Apply our style guide to create new learning content and update existing, legacy learning materials.
Innovation: Work with emerging tools, with a preference for experience with the new Code Block (Beta) feature in authoring tools, and experience working within a PC parallel environment.
We're looking for a highly skilled professional who meets the following criteria:
Experience: At least 8 years of professional experience in design, with a strong focus on instructional design for LMS and CMS systems.
Technical Expertise: Proficient in using Articulate Storyline and RISE for e-learning development, including strong skills in UX, instructional design, and storyboarding.
Web Technologies: Solid understanding of how CSS, HTML, and JavaScript are used to customize and enhance interactive learning components.
Mindset: You are self-motivated and possess a naturally curious approach to problem-solving and innovation.
Detail-Oriented: Able to meticulously apply a style guide to ensure content consistency and brand alignment.
