Senior Insights Analyst (Trilingual Proficiency)

As a senior analyst, you will lead the analytical thinking on your projects, elevate the quality of insights delivered to clients, and begin to take on components of project management - preparing you for future leadership roles. This position is foundational to strengthening our analytical excellence while growing the next generation of project managers. You will be a crucial bridge between hands-on work and strategic delivery - shaping insights that influence our clients' communications, brand positioning, and decision-making.
In particular, we are seeking a candidate who can play a critical role in building up the team’s consumer insights research capability and support research scoping and pricing activities, whilst contributing directly to the team’s existing work in PR-related media monitoring.
What You’ll Do
Insight Generation & Client Value
- Move beyond data curation to deliver clear, actionable insights through data storytelling
- Lead the presentation of research findings to clients, connecting research findings to client objectives
- Work closely with Project Managers and Customer Success Managers to articulate the value of Meltwater Insights reporting
- Coach junior analysts on reporting and client presentation best practices, as needed
- Support the preparation of daily newsletters and all reports as assigned
Project Ownership & Leadership
- Lead or support research project management end-to-end, where assigned
- Serve as the lead analyst for reporting projects of varying complexity, including managing operational escalations and client requests where needed
- Support managers in achieving team-level KPIs, including but not limited to, project renewal rates, pricing, and margins
- Identify opportunities to increase project efficiency through optimal use of Meltwater’s software and improving workflow design
- Work with analyst and managers to ensure the high quality and timely delivery of all deliverables
Reporting Methodology & Design
- Support the scoping and pricing of Insights reports, where assigned
- Apply industry best practices to elevate the scoping of insights reports
Who You Are:
- 4-6 years of experience in consumer insights or marketing research. Experience in the Southeast Asian media monitoring, luxury or FMCG industries is a plus. Familiarity with existing media or consumer research tools is ideal
- Able to conduct research in English and at least two Southeast Asian languages (e.g. Chinese, Malay, Tamil). Must be able to translate news articles and video clips in the vernacular into English.
- Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and G Suite tools, e.g. VLOOKUP
- Team player who enjoys working cross-functionally and has a track record of successes in this regard
- Keen to mentor junior analysts on insights as a craft
- Openness to be assigned Government projects
