Senior Infrastructure & Network Engineer

The Rimes Technologies Infrastructure Team is the very heart of the Technology Organization, its primary objectives to ensure that the Technology in use by Rimes customers is innovative, reliable, performant, scalable and secure. Delivering world class Customer experience for our both External and Internal users to the Rimes Corporation.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to join our global Technology team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established firm with a global presence and significant growth potential.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as technical lead for network, cloud & infrastructure operations as well as cross-team projects   
• Be at the forefront of Rimes engineering capabilities. You will participate in architectural decision-making, mentoring junior engineers, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and driving the adoption of best practices in network and Infrastructure operations management 
• Build systems and implement innovative technologies to support next generation Rimes platform in our Datacenter and the Cloud 
• Optimize datacenter Infrastructure to improve performance, utilisation, availability and security, whilst controlling costs 
• Maintain observability best practices to measure compliance with Rimes SLO’s  

Core Requirements:

• Senior-level experience supporting enterprise networking in hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud - Azure) 
• Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco networking equipment (switches, routing, firewalls) 
• Working experience with Infrastructure as Code, using tools such as Terraform, to deliver and maintain infrastructure changes in a controlled, repeatable manner 
• Proven experience operating datacentre infrastructure, including networking, hardware, and core services 
• Strong understanding of VMware environments and how networking integrates with virtual platforms 
• Confident incident leadership, troubleshooting complex network and connectivity issues 
• Experience delivering infrastructure and network changes through formal change control and documentation processes 
• Strong communication skills, able to lead discussions with infrastructure, cloud, SRE, and application teams 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience   

Desirable:

• Databricks or data-platform adjacent experience 
• Exposure to Snowflake or cloud-based data warehouse platforms 
• Microsoft SQL Server exposure 
• Relevant certifications - Azure Network Engineer associate, CCNP / CCIE, VMware certifications (Or Equivalent experience)  

Work Environment & Schedule:

We offer a flexible hybrid work setup with in-office attendance twice a week, from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM (Manila local time).
