Senior Industry Expert – Process Industry (F/M/D)

At NavVis, we’re looking for an industry expert with deep knowledge of the Oil & Gas, Petro-Chemical, or other process industry sectors to help us identify new business opportunities and introduce our cutting-edge digital solutions to the market. 

In this high-impact role, you’ll play a key part in shaping NavVis´ market strategy — from assessing global market potential to identifying customer use cases and their value and monitoring the competitive technology landscape. You’ll join our Market Intelligence & Strategy team, which leads global market research and strategic positioning for NavVis.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Analyze and define market opportunities: Identify emerging trends, technologies, and digitalization opportunities across the value chain, with a focus on laser scanning and spatial data solutions. 

• Engage with global clients: Lead expert interviews, workshops, and problem-solving sessions to uncover customer value and innovation priorities. 

• Shape our market positioning: Develop clear use cases, competitive differentiators, and unique value propositions for NavVis solutions in the process industries. 

• Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to align on go-to-market strategy, pilot programs, and scalable use cases. 

• Champion digital transformation: Educate both external stakeholders and internal teams on best practices, standardize solution applications, and advocate for the power of spatial intelligence in industrial planning and operations. 

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

• With previous experience as project engineer or maintenance planner in the Oil/Gas, Chemicals or broader Process industry, you will become the go-to person for this market segment within NavVis. 

• Deep understanding of industry processes, stakeholders, and technology adoption patterns, with the ability to translate this into actionable business insights. 

• Hands-on experience with plant design/CAD software, P&IDs etc 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication and presentation abilities. 

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving digital transformation in asset incentive industries. 

• Business fluency in English will help you discover global market trends more efficiently, and ensure seamless communication with all our clients 

• Previous experience in Surveying & Laser Scanning would be a plus!
