Travel & Collaboration: Visit global facilities, collaborate with diverse teams, and bring best-in-class automation to life.   Your Role: Senior Industrial Automation Engineer: You’ll be part of a team who are responsible for the design, development, and deployment of automation systems that enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability across our global processing plants. What you will do:
  • Design and optimize plant automation systems, layouts, and workflows
  • Analyze production data to drive continuous improvement
  • Lead integration of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and control systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Oversee system testing, commissioning, and performance tuning
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards (OSHA, ANSI, ISO)
  • Travel internationally to support installations, upgrades, and training
  • What you Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechatronics or Mechanical)
  • 5+ years of experience in plant automation, industrial controls, or mechatronics
  • Expertise in PLC/HMI programming and industrial control systems
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (2D/3D modeling, BOMs, assemblies)
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and process optimization
  • Strong communication and project coordination skills
  • A problem-solving mindset and enthusiasm for global collaboration
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work hands-on in plant environments
