About Oleria

Oleria provides adaptive and autonomous identity security solutions to protect and enable today's dynamic enterprise. Our platform delivers unparalleled fine-grained access visibility, including usage insights at the individual resource level, so CISOs can confidently answer: Who has access to what? How did they get it? What are they doing with it?

With our recent launch of Adaptive Identity Governance, we have a massive opportunity to disrupt the legacy IGA market. We're replacing multi-year, multi-million dollar deployments with a data-first, AI-native platform that gets organizations governed in under an hour. It's a wide-open market, and we're just getting started.

Founded by cybersecurity veterans Jim Alkove and Jagadeesh Kunda, who built and secured platforms used by billions globally, we've raised $60M+ from Evolution Equity Partners, Salesforce Ventures, Tapestry VC, Zscaler, and other technology luminaries. Our Fortune 500 and public sector clients trust us to protect millions of users worldwide.

We're proud to be recognized as a LinkedIn Best Startup and a Best Startup to Work For by Built In. Join a well-funded team with real traction, a game-changing new product, and a mission to deliver identity security that sets your business free.

The Mission

You are the technical backbone of every enterprise customer deployment—the person who ensures that when a Fortune 500 company trusts Oleria with their identity security, the implementation is fast, clean, and sets the foundation for long-term success.

You own the technical implementation end-to-end: discovery of the customer’s identity environment, integration architecture, deployment planning, configuration, testing, and go-live. You work directly with CISOs, identity architects, and IT operations teams to translate their access governance requirements into a working Oleria deployment. When customers say “this was the smoothest enterprise security implementation we’ve ever done,” that’s because of you.

You also build the systems that make implementation repeatable and scalable. Every deployment you complete produces reusable artifacts—integration templates, configuration playbooks, migration scripts, and troubleshooting guides—that make the next deployment faster. At our stage, with three $500K+ enterprise deals moving to commercial and a growing customer base, the implementation patterns you establish will define how Oleria scales.

You partner closely with R&D and product engineering. The friction points you discover in customer environments shape our product roadmap. The integration patterns you build become product features. You are the bridge between what customers need in the real world and what the platform delivers.

Based in the Bay Area, you are in the room with customers during the most critical moments: kickoff calls, architecture reviews, executive check-ins, and go-live. You partner with sales during the pre-sales cycle to deliver POCs that win deals, and you stay through implementation to ensure the customer gets to full value. Your proximity to R&D means your feedback loop is tight—what you learn on Tuesday’s deployment call shapes Wednesday’s engineering sprint.

This role will require periodic travel, including to our HQ based in Bellevue, WA.

At this time, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. We welcome applications from candidates who are currently authorized to work in the United States.

What You Ship
  • End-to-end technical implementations for enterprise customers: discovery, integration architecture, configuration, testing, go-live, and handoff to customer success

  • Integration engineering across customer identity ecosystems: Okta, Azure AD/Entra, AWS IAM, Google Workspace, SailPoint, ServiceNow, and other IdPs and IGA platforms

  • Deployment playbooks and configuration templates that make every subsequent implementation faster and more predictable

  • Migration plans for customers displacing legacy IGA platforms—mapping existing policies, roles, and workflows to Oleria’s architecture

  • Technical documentation: architecture diagrams, integration specs, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides that customer IT teams can operate from

  • Product feedback grounded in deployment reality—not feature requests, but patterns and evidence from customer environments that shape the roadmap

  • POC and proof-of-value environments that demonstrate Oleria’s capabilities against customer-specific identity challenges during the sales cycle

  • What We Look For
  • 5–8 years in implementation engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting for enterprise B2B SaaS—ideally in cybersecurity, identity, or infrastructure software

  • Deep hands-on experience with identity platforms: Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, AWS IAM, Google Workspace, SailPoint, Saviynt, or similar. You understand how enterprise identity ecosystems actually work—not just in theory, but in messy, multi-vendor production environments

  • You’ve led enterprise implementations at $100K+ ACV. You know how to run a discovery workshop, build an integration architecture, manage a deployment timeline, and handle the politics of multi-stakeholder IT environments

  • Strong engineering fundamentals: APIs, authentication protocols (SAML, SCIM, OAuth/OIDC), scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar), and comfort reading and writing integration code

  • Experience building repeatable implementation frameworks—playbooks, templates, automation—not just doing one-off heroic deployments

  • You use AI tools to accelerate technical work: generating integration code, analyzing customer environments, drafting documentation, automating configuration tasks

  • Excellent communication skills. You present architecture decisions to CISOs, run technical workshops with identity teams, and write documentation that engineers trust

  • You thrive in ambiguity. At our stage, not every customer environment will map cleanly to a playbook. You figure it out, document it, and make it easier for the next time

  • Nice to Have
  • Direct experience with IGA platforms: SailPoint, Saviynt, ServiceNow IRM, or CyberArk Identity

  • Experience with FedRAMP, SOC 2, or other compliance frameworks that affect deployment architecture

  • Background in professional services or consulting at a cybersecurity vendor

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and deployment automation

  • Familiarity with Salesforce ecosystem from an integration perspective
