The Opportunity:
BluMetric is looking for a dependable, detail-focused, and energetic Senior Hydrogeologist or Environmental Engineer to strengthen our multidisciplinary team in Ottawa. We are seeking someone with strong technical expertise and excellent people skills who can oversee, plan, and execute hydrogeological and terrain analysis studies for various client such as land planners, developers (including rural lot subdivisions and severance projects with private servicing, PTTW applications), landfill operators, commercial and industrial interests (e.g., pits and quarries), and municipalities. The role also involves conducting peer reviews of hydrogeological studies and contributing as part of multi-disciplinary groups conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), site characterizations, and site remediation. Responsibilities include developing proposals and budgets, managing projects, leading work teams, and drafting as well as reviewing high-quality technical reports. Additionally, the successful candidate will mentor junior and intermediate colleagues and actively participate in business development efforts. This is a future vacancy within the organization.
