HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Senior HR Business Partner aligns human resources processes, programs and systems with the business strategies and objectives. The successful Senior HR Business Partner acts as a coach and consultant for employees and managers regarding the application of total rewards, learning and development, individual and team performance, organization design, and talent management processes and programs. This position is the single point of contact and supports designated client groups. Collaborates with Corporate HR to support the business needs of LifeNet Health.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Organization Development Consulting: Identify and apply tactics to ensure engagement and alignment of employees across the organization ensuring organization effectiveness and efficiency. Partner with leaders in developing effective structures, systems, processes and skills to support their business goals and talent requirements. Apply change management processes as appropriate to sustain collaboration and a work environment that encourages ongoing improvements and innovation. Lead talent review, performance management, team development, culture/work environment survey and action planning processes. Measure effectiveness and communicate results to the management teams on a quarterly basis. Support the leaders in conducting the talent review process and in planning for future talent and skills sets to stay competitive and anticipate emerging capabilities.
  • Organization Leadership/Business Partner: Understand the industry and the internal/external environment that impacts the organization. Knowledgeable about the organization’s strategic direction, annual corporate business plan and client groups individual annual business plan. Identify and address human resources issues and opportunities which may affect the execution of these plans. Consult with the HR leadership team and leaders in the development of solutions, action plans, and measures of success. Participate in Human Resources annual strategy planning and goal setting to ensure alignment with the business.
  • Employee Relations: Anticipate, identify, and facilitate resolution of employee relations issues. Act as an internal consultant for employees and management in these situations. Work with colleagues in HR, legal, and others as appropriate to ensure high quality solutions consistent with LNH values, federal, state and local laws. Conduct thorough, objective investigations as needed. Provide company policy guidance and interpretation to clients. Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Objectively coach and influence employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues. Appropriately seek consultation from HR Director and/or legal counsel. Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews. Participate in Unemployment Commission hearings and related appeals as required.
  • Learning and Development: Identify appropriate learning and development solutions for individuals, teams, and organizations supported. Work with leaders and employees to create meaningful development and career plans. Participate in the development and delivery of HR training offerings for LNH. Serve as trainer for various leadership and soft skills development topics. Trains and mentors other HRBP’s and members of the HR team.
  • Total Rewards Management: In partnership with our Total Rewards Team, assist in the development, implementation and communication of total rewards programs and processes. Help identify and develop innovative reward/recognition programs which address the unique needs of the organization.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Partner with Talent Acquisition partner to facilitate updates to or creation of job descriptions. Provide talent acquisition support and coordination for senior level leader and key positions. Develop, design and implement retention strategies and programs to ensure the retention of top talent. Assist in the interviewing of candidates, and in the onboarding of new employees.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
  • Six (6) years of experience in HR management/ business partner role
  • Three (3) years of HR specialty experience in OD/ LD or employee relations


Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

  • Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Business, or a related field
  • HR Certification: SPHR or equivalent certification
  • Ten (10) years of experience in HR management/ business partner role
  • Demonstrated skill in operating in a global matrix environment.  Successful track record in fast paced life science or technology environment.
  • Working knowledge of LEAN principles and application

  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated team leadership skills along with strong collaboration skills.
  • Employee Engagement: Effective in developing and implementing employee engagement strategies and tactics.
  • Prioritization: Ability to prioritize rapidly, strong problem solving skills, strong analysis/ decision making skills and ability to manage multiple projects across various organizations.
  • Computer: Proficient in Microsoft Office.  Experience with HR systems (HRMS, Payroll, LMS).

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $100,306 to $133,741 annually


Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience.  The pay range for this position is 100,306 annually (entry level qualifications) to $133,741 annually (experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
