We're looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager that will be at the forefront of shaping and executing our growth strategy across various user acquisition channels, re-engagement tactics, and ad monetization efforts. Reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, this role will leverage expertise in data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic thinking, in order to play a crucial role in driving Kabam’s games' success and expansion.
This role is a full-time, on-site position based 5 days a week at our Downtown LA studio.
In this role, you can expect to be responsible for:
Strategy and Team Management:
Develop and implement user acquisition strategies across diverse channels, driving diversification for optimized outcomes.
Formulate localized market strategies and tactics for major geos and regions, adapting approaches to match local nuances.
Generate clear, detailed long- and short-term projections, effectively communicating these projections to key stakeholders.
Responsible for mentoring junior team members for onboarding and any ongoing training needs.
Able to put together training and onboarding plans for new team members.
Demonstrate macro level thinking and able to lead complex ad-hoc projects under guidance. (examples: Attribution windows analysis and adjustment on an app level, CPI projection forecasts, Yields projections etc.).
Be an avid sponsor for direct reports by providing support, advocacy, visibility, and promotion opportunities.
Able to monitor team growth and constantly providing support to encourage active learning.
Monetization, ASO, Creative Strategy:
Collaborate with ASO Managers to enhance App Store Optimization (ASO) on ranking and conversion metrics, formulating strategic approaches for success.
Have understanding of App Store Optimization (ASO) to strategize and execute synergy with paid marketing and storefronts.
Collaborate with the Marketing Creatives team to create and implement effective creative strategies that unlock growth potential.
User Acquisition, Re-engagement, and Retargeting:
Define comprehensive strategies for new user acquisition and re-engagement/retargeting, tailored to different markets.
Implement retargeting campaigns to convert users who have expressed interest in our games.
Develop cross platform strategy for Mobile and PC.
Plan and execute channel strategy, budgets, KPIs and optimize campaigns to drive efficiency in CPI, ROAS, and LTV.
Deep understanding with AppsFlyer and working inside ad platforms such as DSPs, Influencers, Meta Ads, TikTok, Google Ads, etc.
Be an expert in attribution models such as Mobile, iOS SKAN, Cross Platform, PC, etc. and be up to speed on Market Trends around Privacy, optimization models, etc.
Process Improvement and Automation:
Spearhead the development of a Growth Marketing Automation function, enhancing processes, productivity, and scalability.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to support the organization's rapid scaling.
Analysis, Report, and Budget Management:
Conduct thorough SWOT and competitor analyses for a portfolio of titles, providing insights to guide strategic decisions.
Collaborate with the Data team to build reporting tools, automate growth marketing operational processes, and estimate projections and LTVs.
Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize growth strategies.
Manage and allocate budgets effectively across different marketing channels to achieve maximum impact for each project.
Raise flags for future potential issues that might arise if we continue on course or due to expected changes based on our current methodology.
Ability to lead diagnosing game problems and creating actionable plans for problem resolution.
Ability to work with Data to create data visualization views that allows team to run in-depth analysis of UA effort.
Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Makes decisions on goals for functional teams. Defines problems and empowers team to figure out their own solutions.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with game teams to grasp product roadmaps, features, design, and economy, contributing insights for revenue growth.
Partner with the Marketing team to assess the impact of product marketing, branding, and consumer insights on ROI and growth.
Leverage expertise from the Business Development team to gain insights into platform partnerships, IP partnerships, and regional expertise.
Collaborate with the FP&A team to reshape growth marketing strategies and expectations using provided game metrics.
Awareness to maintain clear lines of communications between teams and actively foreseeing/preventing potential points of friction.
Actively leading cross-team projects across product, analytics, growth, and more.
To be successful in this role, your background includes:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
A minimum of 6+ years of experience in growth marketing, with a strong focus on the mobile gaming industry.
Proven track record of developing and executing impactful user acquisition, monetization, and retention strategies.
Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
Effective collaboration and communication skills, with a demonstrated aptitude for working cross-functionally.
Proficiency in data analysis, generating actionable insights, and utilizing data to drive strategic decisions.
Experience in ad monetization, ASO, and creative strategy.
Proficient in market analysis, projections, and reporting.
Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to adapt and lead in a rapidly evolving industry.
Prior experience in setting strategic direction for growth marketing functions is a plus.
