Job Description
As the Senior Growth Manager for Retail Media, you will play a pivotal role in monetising HelloFresh’s physical and digital advertising ecosystem. Your mission is to demonstrate to major brands and media agencies how they can leverage the HelloFresh Group’s high-intent customer base to drive measurable growth through strategic media investment.
Managing a sophisticated suite of advertising solutions, including premium product sampling and native recipe partnerships, you will utilise your existing network of brand and agency contacts to drive significant revenue growth. This is a purely commercial, revenue-generating role that requires a high-level sales professional to own key relationships and collaborate with local and global teams. By driving innovation and scaling our media inventory, you will cement HelloFresh’s position as a market leader in Retail Media Networks (RMNs).
This role reports to the Associate Director - Commercial Partnerships and is based in our Chippendale, Sydney. You will…
- Drive Proactive Business Development: Lead high-volume outreach and cold prospecting to identify and engage new brand and agency partners. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline from scratch.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales revenue targets across various channels, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Execute the Full Sales Cycle: From initial lead generation to final negotiation, you will pitch and secure high-value commercial agreements across our suite of advertising solutions.
- Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain rigorous standards for pipeline hygiene, utilising CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) to track outreach, manage lead stages, and provide accurate revenue forecasting to leadership.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to onboard media agencies into our partner mix, to enable increased scalability of our retail media program into the future
- Work closely with other growth channels, brand team, operations, legal and procurement teams to align sales efforts with overall HelloFresh company goals and ensure seamless campaign execution and fulfilment
- Analyse and leverage data: Monitor market trends, analyse performance dashboards, and turn data from campaign performance into strategic recommendations that drive better performance.
- Represent the Organisation: Act as a brand ambassador at conferences, industry events, and client meetings to showcase our retail media capabilities and expand our network within the advertising industry.
- Collaborate with our Global Retail Media team, and manage relationships with our sales agency.
You have…
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Advertising Sales or Strategic Partnerships, exposure in Grocery, FMCG/CPG, Retail Media, (Digital) Media and/or E-Commerce industry is a plus
- Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrated ability to build a sales pipeline from scratch, lead proactive cold outreach, and secure high-value commercial agreements
- Proven ability to source, launch and expand successful partnerships with excellent communication and negotiation skills, including developing proposals/business cases
- Deep industry knowledge: Strong understanding of the retail media and/or advertising landscape, including advertising sales cycles, media planning, campaign success metrics, and the evolving needs of large (FMCG/CPG) advertisers and media agencies.
- Strong professional network in FMCG, CPG and media agencies: an extensive list of contacts within the ANZ market that you can utilise for outreach and revenue generations
- CRM & Data Proficiency: Proven success managing sales funnels and pipeline hygiene in tools like HubSpot, with the analytical skills to translate campaign data into strategic insights.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
