Your career as a Senior Reporting Accountant at Booksy will give you the opportunity to take true ownership of our statutory reporting and consolidation processes. Working closely with the Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager, you’ll be the go-to expert for Polish GAAP, ensuring our financial story is told accurately as we continue to scale globally.

You’ll be excited by the prospect of developing and improving processes in a fast-paced, "human-to-human" environment. This isn't just about the numbers; it’s about advising the Group on proper accounting treatments and participating in strategic projects, such as new acquisitions or implementing the latest accounting standards.


Some of your responsibilities:

  • Preparing and delivering accurate monthly and annual consolidated financial statements and supporting internal reporting, all in compliance with Polish GAAP. 
  • Managing intercompany (IC) transactions, including reconciliation and confirmation, and assisting with audit and review processes. 
  • Collaborating with accounting teams across the Group, external auditors, and advisors to resolve accounting treatment issues and ensure smooth reporting processes. 
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of Group Accounting Policy, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely financial reporting. 
  • Participating in strategic financial projects, such as the implementation of new accounting standards and the accounting for new acquisitions, as well as implementing internal controls in the accounting area. 

Requirements

Essentially, to ensure you succeed in this role you’re going to need:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years as a consolidation specialist in an international group of companies.
  • Deep knowledge of Polish GAAP, supported by a degree in Finance/Accounting or a Polish Accountants Association certificate (min. 2nd degree).
  • Advanced Excel skills and a systematic, detail-oriented approach to resolving complex accounting issues.
  • Fluency in English (B2+), as you’ll be liaising with staff and advisors across our global offices.
  • A collaborative "team player" mindset, with the flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing scale-up environment.

It will also help you to have:

  • Familiarity with Business Central (Navision) or previous experience with ERP implementations
