(Senior) Group Accounting Manager

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• This is a senior role in our accounting organisation and a unique opportunity to be a key contributor in a dynamic environment
• Be responsible for a broad range of tasks from helping us to build new products to shaping our group accounting policies and procedures (HGB, IFRS, RechKredV)
• Own the development of our accounting standards and procedures as well as group-level disclosure
• Be the face of Accounting when working closely with stakeholders across the company and external auditors

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 5 years professional experience in audit, accounting, financial services or similar roles at a top-tier firm
• Excellent technical accounting knowledge (HGB, IFRS) and experience with group reporting / consolidation
• Experience in the financial services / banking sector or a Fintech will be a plus
• Self starter with the drive to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, high-growth organisation
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex accounting topics succinctly
