Summary/Objective:
The senior graphic designer is a key member of the creative team, responsible for conceptualizing and implementing design solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion. This role requires an elevated level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills to produce quality designs within specified timeframes. The senior graphic designer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, digital, and other relevant stakeholders, to ensure the visual communication and brand standards are consistently maintained across all projects.
Essential Functions:
• Creative Design: Develop innovative and high-quality design concepts, graphics, and layouts for various marketing and communication materials, including but not limited to digital marketing, site experience, daily emails, paid advertising and print when needed.
• Brand Management: Partnering with the Creative Director, maintain and develop brand guidelines to ensure consistent visual representation across all communication channels. Ensure that all design solutions align with the company's brand identity and values.
• Project Management: Manage multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and delivery of design projects.
• Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to the junior designer and our production agency, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment. Lead design presentations and effectively communicate design concepts to various stakeholders.
• Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, incorporating innovative design techniques and technologies to enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of design projects.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Brand Marketing Teams, and other relevant departments to understand project requirements and deliver designs that effectively communicate the desired message to the target audience.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on all design deliverables to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Software Proficiency: Experience working in Figma a must.
• Advanced proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc)
• Proven work experience (typically 5-8 years) in graphic design or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and professional design projects.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Leadership experience, with a proven ability to mentor and guide junior designer.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and impactful designs.
• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving design trends and technologies.
Work Environment:
• Works in an indoor office/home office environment, temperature controlled
• Sit for long periods, standing and walking intermittently

Qualifications, Education and Experience:
· 5-7 years of graphic design experience
