Role Purpose
The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for leading end‑to‑end design for key initiatives in Australia and New Zealand and across Asia – from concept through to final artwork. You’ll translate business and customer needs into clear, compelling visual solutions across digital and print, and act as a brand guardian for SEEK/JobStreet/JobsDB in the region.
Key Responsibilities

- Interpret briefs and lead the ideation and development of creative concepts for integrated campaigns (always‑on, product, brand and B2B/B2C).
- Develop design systems and visual territories that can flex across multiple channels and markets while staying on brand.
- Partner with copywriters, marketers and local stakeholders to craft narratives and visual stories that resonate with candidates and hirers across APAC.
2. Design Execution
- Design digital marketing assets including:
- Social media posts and stories
- Display banners and programmatic assets
- Email templates and campaign EDMs (SFMC/CRM)
- Landing pages and web modules (Hygraph/other CMS)
- Create brand and campaign collateral such as:
- Campaign assets and adaptations
- Presentation decks and one‑pagers
- Event and sponsorship materials (backdrops, banners, booth graphics)
- Sales enablement and product collateral
- Localise and roll out regional or ANZ master creative for APAC markets, optimising for local language, culture and channel formats.
- Ensure all output is on brand, accessible and fit for purpose, with meticulous attention to layout, typography, hierarchy and file preparation.
3. Brand Guardianship & Quality
- Act as a brand champion for SEEK/JobStreet/JobsDB visual identity across APAC:
- Apply and evolve brand guidelines appropriately.
- Provide practical brand advice to marketing, product and internal partners.
- Maintain a high bar for craft and consistency, reviewing and quality‑controlling design work from external partners or junior designers.
- Help evolve and document design standards, templates and image libraries for use across APAC.
4. Collaboration & Ways of Working
- Work closely with country marketing teams, product marketers and CRM to understand objectives, audiences and measures of success.
- Manage your workload and timelines, proactively flagging risks and trade‑offs and suggesting pragmatic solutions.
- Contribute to studio rituals (stand‑ups, reviews, retros) and foster a positive, collaborative culture across APAC.
- When required, mentor and support junior designers or freelancers – providing constructive feedback and guidance on both craft and process.
5. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay across design, motion and digital trends relevant to marketing and brand.
- Explore and pilot new tools and AI‑powered workflows (e.g. for image generation, layout, versioning) where they can improve quality, speed or scalability without compromising brand integrity.
- Identify opportunities to streamline ways of working through better templates, systems, documentation and handover practices.
