In summary, what does the role entail ?

The Senior Graphic Artist is responsible for leading and mentoring the graphic design team while remaining hands-on with high-impact creative work. Reporting to the Creative Director, this role bridges creative strategy and execution, manages workflow, and upholds strong visual standards across all campaigns.

What is the ideal profile for this position?

• Proven leadership experience, having led a design team or acted as a Lead or Senior Designer in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expert-level skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• A true player-coach mindset: comfortable mentoring others while staying actively involved in design execution
• Strong communication skills, able to give clear, constructive feedback and recognize great work
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage people, priorities, and multiple project timelines simultaneously
• Excellent bilingual communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in French is essential *

As a Senior Graphic Artist, what will your responsibilities be?

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day output of the graphic design team, ensuring all deliverables are on brand, on time, and error-free
• Mentor and develop graphic designers and production artists through regular feedback, design reviews, and coaching
• Manage workflow in partnership with the project management/traffic team, assigning work based on skills, capacity, and priorities
• Support the onboarding and training of new team members and freelance creatives
• Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to define and execute visual direction across campaigns and initiatives
• Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints (print, digital, social, sales tools, and more)
• Translate complex marketing briefs into clear, actionable creative direction for the design team
• Remain hands-on by leading high-impact design projects, building templates and style guides, and supporting production during peak periods
