About the team & role

Our Core Exchange team is responsible for the core engine powering our exchange. We’re on a mission to massively scale throughput, pushing boundaries of performance, resilience, and efficiency.

As a Senior Golang Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing and building highly scalable backend services running in AWS, ensuring robust performance under demanding workloads. You’ll collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders across teams to shape the future of our trading platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a modern fintech exchange and tackle problems that demand both architectural depth and execution speed.

What you'll do

• Design and build high-performance, scalable backend systems using Golang, with a focus on resilient architecture and clean code.
• Deliver meaningful impact by collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
• Lead technical discussions, drive architectural decisions, and ensure implementation of best practices.
• Improve observability, performance, and fault tolerance of our systems.
• Own services in production—including participating in an on-call rotation to support mission-critical systems.
• Help evolve our infrastructure and deployment pipelines to meet the ever-growing demand of our users.

What you bring

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with deep expertise in Golang.
• Proven ability to design high-performance, scalable solutions—ideally in trading, payments, or other latency-sensitive domains.
• Experience designing and operating systems in cloud environments, especially AWS.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure design and resilient, distributed systems.
• Proficiency with databases, both SQL (MySQL) and/or NoSQL (DynamoDB).
• Goal-oriented, with a customer-first mindset and passion for quality.
• Clear, concise communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Nices to haves

• Experience with solution architecture in production-grade systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Prior experience in fintech, high-frequency trading, or financial infrastructure.
