We are looking for a talented Senior Go Developer to join our dynamic team at Imunify360. Responsibilities

Join our team as a Senior Go Developer and take on exciting challenges:

  • Internal services development for Imunify360;
  • Maintaining, refactoring, and optimization of the existing services;
  • Development of the new functionality;
  • Development and improvement of the other products written in Go;
  • Monitoring deployments and application performance.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, we are looking for someone who has:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with Go (writing clean code, familiar with Go testing and debugging tools);
  • 5+ years of experience with Linux (i.e. Debian, CentOS, RHEL, or/and AlmaLinux);
  • Experience in Python development;
  • Good understanding of the network stack (TCP/IP, HTTP in particular);
  • Solid understanding of Linux firewalling and packet filtering (Netfilter), with hands-on experience in iptables, ipsets, connection tracking, rule optimization and WAF solutions, especially ModSecurity;
  • Knowledge of Git;
  • Experience with Shell scripting;
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills;
  • Ability to read and understand someone else's code;
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to read and understand technical documentation.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience in software optimization across multiple platforms, including resource-constrained environments;
  • Solid understanding of Nginx and Apache architectures, with hands-on experience in developing extension modules;
  • Background in system programming, with proficiency in C/C++;
  • Experience integrating C libraries and working with mixed-language codebases;
  • Contributions to open-source projects, including the ability to patch or enhance projects written in Go;
  • Good understanding of internet security principles.
