To provide high quality software implementation consultancy to Flintfox customers. The Consultant acts as the conduit between the Customer and Technical teams, providing guidance that ensures the technical capabilities of our software customisations match agreed requirements. The jobholder will also provide requirements analysis, solution and configuration design, customisation solution design, implementation, training, integration, testing and production support to customers either on-site or remotely.
Duties and Responsibilities
Able to define the requirements of the customer and play them back to the customer to agree them.
Able to learn, articulate, configure and design a solution for the requirements of customers. Run customer workshops to enable the implementation of the solution.
Train project team and end users on business solution.
Produce detailed requirements, design, configuration, test and cutover documentation agreed with the customer.
Takes personal responsibility for ensuring the customer’s problems are resolved.
Develops and maintains strong, productive relationships with customers.
Develops strong relationships with Global Development teams, Microsoft Consulting, Value Added resellers and system Integrators.
Takes ownership of multiple solutions to maximise the value the software provides for Flintfox customers.
Acts as a conduit between Customers and Technical teams.
Works on multiple projects simultaneously.
Maintains a high level overview of technical competence and domain knowledge of Dynamics ERP products. Research new releases and updates.
Provides solution architecture support and technical guidance.
Creates Solution Design, Configuration and Functional Design Documents for standard Flintfox solutions and its customization.
Relates requirements from the Customer to the development team members.
Ensure the technical capabilities of software customisations meets agreed Customer requirements.
Technical Design and Documentation for the customised solution required by the customer.
Confirm the software technical capabilities are in line with the design specifications and customer requirements.
Actively contributes to the successful implementation of proposed solutions, resolving technical and design issues during the implementation stages and go-live.
Work closely with the engagement team to ensure we meet and exceed customer requirements and expectations.
Effectively communicates and works with other team members to achieve organization objectives.
Undertake additional tasks, responsibilities, and ad-hoc projects as and when requested.
Write test scripts based on requirements and carries out testing.
Ensure all billable work is billed effectively.
Maximizes opportunities for billable work.
Ensure timesheets are submitted on time and accurately recorded.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
5 to 8 years’ experience in ERP software implementations, within the implementing organization or implementation partner.
Proven track record in delivering outstanding technical solutions, requirements, solution design, customer presentation skills.
Guide, develop and agree Acceptance Criteria for Solution Designs with Customer
Required Education and Experience
Relevant post-secondary qualification or substantial relevant work experience.
5 to 8 years’ experience in ERP software implementations.
Experience in implementing system design and process improvements.
Experience working with key customers to deliver customisation requirements.
Requirements gathering and business analysis experience.
Experience in Finance, Supply Chain or Manufacturing with an in-depth understanding of related business processes.
Flintfox implementation experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Mentor team members and provide constructive feedback to support their career development.
Travel
Our roles may require some travel, with a typical average being in the region of up to 20%. Very infrequently, however, some customers at some specific stages of their projects, may request a higher percentage of travel, sometimes up to 50% or more.
