Senior Fullstack Engineer - Remote from France

In this role, you will join a dynamic engineering team driving the development of high-impact, business-critical solutions at the core of a global communication platform. You’ll design, develop, and deploy reliable, scalable, and secure services using modern technologies such as TypeScript, Ruby, and AWS. Accountabilities

• Participate in requirements analysis to design robust, customer-oriented technical solutions.
• Take ownership of the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of critical software components.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, ensuring high quality through testing and code reviews.
• Refactor, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and high-performing voice and AI-driven features.
• Monitor live systems, respond to incidents, and ensure continuous service availability through on-call rotations.
• Mentor junior engineers, promote best practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development using a typed language (TypeScript/Node.js, Java, or C#), with a strong focus on scalability, security, and performance.
• 2+ years of experience with modern frontend frameworks, ideally React or Angular.
• Proven expertise in serverless architectures, microservices, or distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying production systems on AWS, with deep knowledge of its core services.
• A strong understanding of security principles and best practices in software development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
• A passion for innovation, learning, and building exceptional products in a fast-paced environment.
