About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining fullstack applications, developing scalable REST APIs, and owning features end-to-end. You will work in an Agile environment, contributing to architectural decisions and deploying, monitoring, and operating services in Kubernetes environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes, Node.js, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and Next.js, along with experience in microservices and CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain fullstack applications using Kubernetes, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Next.js.
- Develop scalable and efficient REST APIs to support our application needs.
- Own features end-to-end, from initial design and development to testing, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
- Collaborate with other engineers in an Agile team environment, contributing to architectural decisions and best practices.
- Deploy, monitor, and operate services within Kubernetes environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our codebase and development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working closely with operations and support teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in fullstack development and cloud computing.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical challenges.
- Contribute to the documentation of our systems and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4-6 years of hands-on development experience in fullstack engineering.
- Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Node.js, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and Next.js.
- Experience with microservices architecture and development.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Good system design and database design fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
