Senior Fullstack Engineer (LLM/AI) (Remote - Latam)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer (LLM/AI) in Latin America.

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer focused on LLM/AI, you will play a key role in developing and scaling AI-powered training simulations that help individuals enhance real-world skills such as leadership, communication, and decision-making. You will work on both backend and frontend components, building robust, scalable systems that integrate AI features, real-time audio/video, and digital avatars. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product, design, and cloud teams to translate requirements into reliable, high-performance solutions. You will also contribute to the migration and optimization of backend services, ensuring best practices, maintainability, and high code quality. This position offers the opportunity to innovate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment while working with cutting-edge LLM and AI technologies.

Accountabilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using NestJS, Python, or Java to support AI-powered applications.
• Build systems that simplify deployment, monitoring, and scaling of AI features in cloud environments (Azure preferred; AWS a plus).
• Support frontend components using ReactJS, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to transform requirements into reliable technical solutions.
• Contribute to backend migration projects and modernization efforts.
• Maintain high code quality through peer reviews, testing, and adherence to software best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve system performance and reliability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, fostering team collaboration and iterative delivery.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience in Java, TypeScript, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with LLM and AI technologies, including model integration into applications.
• Proficiency in cloud services (Azure preferred; AWS a plus) and deployment practices.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, REST APIs, and modular architecture.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Experience mentoring or sharing knowledge within engineering teams is desirable.
