YOUR NEW TEAM

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Mobile Apps team. Our mission is to empower loan customers through effortless and transparent digital services that are trustworthy and self-serve in our iOS and Android apps. We strive to provide a seamless experience from deciding for a loan to formalizing the checkout process, ensuring our customers feel confident and in control in every step of their journey. On top of that we constantly enrich the portfolio of financing products for our customers in our mobile apps.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Work in a cross-platform React Native codebase that powers our iOS and Android apps, alongside React-based frontend components.
• Help us shape the technical direction of our mobile platform and contribute to decisions around architecture, tools, and frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and UX Designers to ensure a seamless and high-performance user experience throughout the entire customer journey — from product discovery to checkout and self-service features.
• Conceptualize and implement new features that simplify and improve the customer experience and leverage the potential of native apps.
• Integrate and maintain third-party SDKs, deep-linking and push notification logic, while ensuring that tracking and analytics are robust and privacy-compliant.
• Contribute to A/B testing and conversion rate optimization efforts, helping us iterate quickly and measure the impact of features.
• Take ownership of code and services in line with our “you build it, you run it, you own it” philosophy, including participating in DevOps tasks when needed.
• Work as part of an agile, product-focused team with a clear mission, a high degree of autonomy, and close collaboration with other frontend, backend, and infrastructure teams.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have several years of professional experience developing mobile applications with React Native in a B2C context and additional experience with React for web applications on Senior level
• You have strong knowledge of Typescript and its ecosystem.
• You have strong knowledge of NestJS.
• You have worked on apps used by a large user base and a vast understanding of the importance of performance, error handling, and cross-device consistency.
• Experience integrating mobile-specific features such as push notifications, deep linking, and third-party SDKs.
• Experience with analytics, event tracking, A/B testing, and a data-driven approach to feature development.
• Familiarity with Expo and EAS is a plus.
• Familiarity with native app development (Swift/Kotlin) and/or building native code extensions for React Native is a plus.
• You are a strong communicator and team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working closely with Product and Design to build user-centric experiences.
• You are comfortable taking initiative, contributing to architectural decisions, and mentoring less experienced team members.
