- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Java (main core), Spring Boot on the backend and Angular (TypeScript) on the frontend.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Participate in system design, code review, and technical discussions.
- Work with AWS cloud services to deploy and operate applications in production.
- Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure high code quality.
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams with Product Owner, QA, and DevOps.
- Support and mentor junior developers.
General requirements:
- At least intermediate English communication (able to work with international clients)
- Likely having 5+ years of experience (flexible depending on how fast your learning and technical developing capabilities are)
- Ability to obtain deep knowledge of the project technologies and work independently with minimum guidance
- Ability to self-learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
- Familiar with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban)
Technical requirements:
- Strong experience in Java with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and building RESTful APIs
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, and clean code principles
- Experience with SQL databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including writing efficient queries
- Hands-on experience with Angular/TypeScript; understanding SPA concepts (routing, REST integration)
- Good experience in unit testing and API testing using JUnit, Mockito, Jacoco, Postman
- Experience with Docker for building and running applications
- Familiar with AWS cloud services (ECS, S3, SQS)
- Experience using Git with GitHub workflow and GitHub Actions
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and software delivery pipelines
- Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, reusability, and code review
Nice to have:
- Basic working experience with Node.js (TypeScript) is a plus
- Experience with additional AWS services (API Gateway, Secrets Manager)
- Familiarity with database migration and batch/background processing (Flyway, Spring Batch)
- Experience with integration / contract testing and BDD (WireMock, Serenity)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and microservices architecture
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to project needs
