Senior Full-stack (Java/Angular) Software Engineer, based in Da Nang

• Perform hands-on coding and code review as other peer developers as needed
• Understand the requirements of the customer or business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistent with this;
• Design, develop, review, implement, maintain and manage continuous integration, build management and deployment scripts, systems, and any code as required;
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities: daily standup, demo session, retrospective, estimate, and planning, etc
• Provide mentoring/training for junior members if any
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

General Requirements

• Intermediate English proficiency or higher.
• At least 5 years of experience in full-stack development (~70% Java, 30% Angular).
• Strong self-learning ability and adaptability to new technologies.
• Proven leadership skills to lead a small development team and collaborate closely with client technical stakeholders.

Technical Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java 21, Spring Boot 3, and Spring Cloud.
• Solid experience designing and developing RESTful APIs for scalable systems.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing and testing tools (Mockito, Jacoco, Postman).
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Front-end development experience using Angular and Node.js (TypeScript).
• Practical experience with AWS services including ECS, S3, and SQS.
• Strong knowledge of Git workflows (GitHub workflow, GitHub Actions).
• Experience working with Docker (building and running containers).
• Solid understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with additional AWS services such as API Gateway and Secrets Manager.
• Familiarity with database migration tools (e.g. Flyway).
• Knowledge of advanced testing techniques (WireMock, BDD with Serenity – development scope).
• Experience with Spring Batch, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, or microservices architecture.
