If you’re looking for a place where your work shapes the future of how companies operate, join us. Let’s build it together.

Senior Fullstack Engineer

Building journeys sounds simple - until you try to make them fast, flexible, and scalable across complex organisations.

At TheyDo, you’ll work on the foundations of how companies understand and improve customer journeys. Think permissions across workspaces, and systems that need to stay fast while handling growing complexity. This is where your work makes a direct impact on how teams make decisions every day.

We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer who enjoys untangling complexity, ships quickly, and cares deeply about how products feel and perform.

What you’ll do

You’ll work across the full stack to improve how our platform handles scale, structure, and speed. From architecture decisions to shipping features, you’ll play a key role in shaping the product.

Your work will include:

  • Building and evolving core platform capabilities like workspace management, permissions, and governance

  • Improving how data flows across workspaces, making content more flexible and connected

  • Driving the implementation of Workspace 2.0, helping redefine how customers structure and manage their work

  • Optimising performance across critical areas like journey mapping and the journey detail page

  • Tackling complex data challenges, including filtering, querying, and merging large datasets efficiently

  • Designing and improving system architecture with scalability and maintainability in mind

  • Collaborating closely with product managers and designers to ship features quickly and thoughtfully

  • Experimenting with AI capabilities and exploring how they can enhance the product experience

What we’re looking for

You’re someone who enjoys solving hard problems, moves fast, and thinks in systems. You don’t just build features - you understand how everything connects.

  • In depth experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and frameworks like NestJS

  • In depth frontend experience with Vue, or React with a willingness to work in Vue

  • Proven ability to design and work with complex systems and architectures

  • Experience working on SaaS products over a longer period of time

  • Product mindset - you care about how and why users interact with what you build

  • Ability to move quickly and ship frequently without sacrificing quality

  • Interest in AI and willingness to experiment with it in a product context

  • Comfortable working asynchronously and documenting your work clearly

Nice to have:

  • Deep experience with Vue

  • Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD)

  • Experience leading or mentoring in AI-related initiatives

What success looks like

  • You ship consistently and quickly, delivering meaningful improvements week after week

  • You bring structure to complex systems and make them easier to work with

  • You spot product opportunities and contribute beyond just implementation

  • You help the team move faster by making smart architectural decisions

  • You actively explore how AI can improve both the product and how we build it

Why you shouldn’t apply

This role isn’t for everyone, and that’s intentional.

  • You prefer clearly defined tasks handed to you - here, you’ll need to figure out what to work on next

  • You’re uncomfortable with complexity - our systems are not simple, and that’s part of the challenge

  • You like slow, predictable environments - we move fast and expect you to keep up

  • You’re only interested in either frontend or backend - this role requires both

  • You don’t enjoy thinking about product decisions - engineering and product go hand in hand here

What you can expect at TheyDo

  • Fully remote work across Europe, with flexible hours

  • A highly autonomous environment where you own your work

  • A team that values speed, clarity, and craftsmanship

  • Real impact on a product used by leading global companies

  • Space to experiment, especially with AI and new technologies

  • Regular offsites to connect, reflect, and have fun together

We’re building something ambitious - and we’re just getting started.

If you enjoy solving complex problems, shipping fast, and shaping the future of journey management, we’d love to hear from you.
