As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll build and improve user-facing applications using React on the front end and Ruby on Rails on the back end. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to implement features, refine APIs, maintain reliability, and support iterative delivery. This role is hands-on across the stack and focused on writing clean, maintainable code that supports a smooth, accessible experience for end users.

 

What you'll be doing:

You’ll contribute to both frontend and backend development, implementing new features, improving existing functionality, and supporting integrations across services. You’ll collaborate with the team to refine requirements, participate in code reviews, help identify technical improvements, and ensure the application delivers consistent performance and usability. You’ll work within Agile workflows, support test coverage, and assist in debugging and resolving production issues as they arise.

What you’ll bring:

  • 6+ years of full-stack engineering experience
  • Deep experience with React, modern component patterns, performance optimization, and frontend architecture
  • Strong expertise with Ruby on Rails, including API design, service organization, background processing, and database modeling
  • Ability to lead technical decision-making and contribute to architecture discussions
  • Experience mentoring engineers, reviewing code constructively, and raising engineering quality
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and frontend–backend integration patterns
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
  • Comfort diagnosing complex issues across the stack and proposing scalable solutions
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing frameworks, and secure coding practices
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating in Agile delivery environments
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

At Wilcore, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.

United States Wage Range: $110,000 – $155,000
