Senior Full Stack Engineer (NodeJS/React & VueJS/Typescript)

Join us as a Senior Full Stack Engineer in our Belgrade office and help shape the next chapter of our Real Estate brands, Homegate and Immoscout24, the largest real estate portals in Switzerland, with more than 15 million visits per month and more than 100,000 listings. We provide all users looking for a property with a transparent overview of the entire range of listings without them having to tediously visit different platforms. In addition to great products such as the mortgage or price calculator, we also offer editorial articles on topics such as housing and financing.

You’ll be directly involved in architectural discussions, influencing technical direction, and helping the team deliver high-quality software through strong collaboration and thoughtful execution. We’re looking for someone who leads with initiative, follows through with pragmatism, and raises the bar for how we design and operate systems.

In this role, you'll balance system stability with long-term thinking. You’ll take ownership across the stack, challenge assumptions when needed, and work closely with others to continuously improve how we build, ship, and evolve our platform.

About the position

• Own services end-to-end - from architecture to monitoring - with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and long-term vision   
• Drive architectural decisions - assess what's in place, propose what’s next, and deliver modern solutions with your team
• Design and scale cloud-native services using AWS (our primary cloud platform) - and support others in adopting cloud-native practices
• Lead cross-team collaboration to ship features that move the needle - and elevate how we plan, deliver, and operate
• Contribute across the stack - strong on backend, comfortable stepping into frontend where needed
• Mentor engineers and help cultivate a strong and supportive engineering culture
• Continuously improve how we work - from tooling to documentation to communication

About you

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development
• Proven experience in backend-heavy or fullstack roles, with a solid grasp of distributed systems and modern architecture
• Comfortable designing and scaling services in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Able to work with and improve legacy code where needed
• Strong communicator and collaborative teammate
• Experienced mentoring peers and supporting team growth
• Fluent in English and confident working in an international environment
