As a Senior Engineer in the auth team, you will design, build and deploy robust, secure and scalable auth & identity solutions that protect the Kpler platform and its users.

Key Responsibilities
Design, build and deploy robust, secure and scalable auth & identity solutions
Maintain existing auth systems
Act as a technical authority in the auth & identity domain
Mentor and coach others in the team
Own the development and deployment of solutions from end to end
Ensure the output of the team is delivered to a high standard and meets the engineering organisations’ quality goals

Qualifications
BSc/MSc in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent required

Drives large engineering efforts, coordinating design and balancing delivery, quality, and technical debt.
Drives Technical Excellence
Leads refactoring and improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Owns Major Incidents
Manages critical incidents, leads root cause analysis, and ensures lasting corrective actions.
Contributes to Architecture
Influences technical standards and contributes to cross-team architectural direction.
Aligns Engineering with Business Needs
Integrates user impact, business priorities, and system health into decision-making.
Delivers Measurable Outcomes
Sets clear success criteria and uses data to guide prioritisation and trade-offs.
Essential:
7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
Experience with CIAM platforms, such as Auth0, Entra ID etc.
Strong grasp of authentication and authorisation concepts and standards, such as OAuth2 and OIDC
TypeScript
SQL
Containerisation (e.g. Docker)
DevOps - CI / CD
Strong command of written and spoken English
Desirable:
Experience with Cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure or GCP)
