About the Role
Reveal Technology is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to build applications and services across multiple environments for a new tactical edge product. This role works across on-device edge code running on NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano, web dashboards for operators, and cloud C2 infrastructure—building the full stack from embedded Python on ARM to React frontends to cloud APIs. You'll work across all three environments, building whatever is needed: embedded Python services on Jetson, React/Next.js web applications, FastAPI backend APIs, database systems, SDR integration, exploitation framework interfaces, and cloud infrastructure.
This is a hands-on full stack role requiring versatility, embedded systems experience, and the ability to work across different environments and technology stacks. You'll write code for edge devices, build web applications, develop cloud services, integrate SDR hardware, build exploitation interfaces, and integrate everything together.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain backend services and applications using Python and Go with PostgreSQL databases
Develop progressive web applications optimized for mobile and desktop
Design and implement RESTful APIs and database schemas
Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes and containerization
Design data models for mission-critical defense and logistics systems
Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
Optimize application performance and offline capabilities
Work closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards
Build tools that support military readiness and logistics operations
Ensure applications meet security and compliance requirements
Integrate with DoD systems and secure data pipelines
Requirements
5–7 years of experience in full stack development
Strong experience with Python or Go, Docker, and Kubernetes is required
Experience building backend services and APIs in Python and/or Go
Due to the nature of our work, qualified candidates must be US Citizens
Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, Tailwind)
Experience working with a modern DBMS (PostgreSQL or similar)
Experience designing database schemas and implementing a corresponding object model
Experience with authentication and authorization best practices
Comfortable working in fast-moving, early-stage environments
Compensation
Salary ($150,000 - $200,000) + Equity
Salary is determined by the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
