Role Overview

We're building a new platform from the ground up, and we need a senior full-stack developer who lives and breathes AI-assisted development. This isn't about someone who's tried ChatGPT a few times - we need someone who uses AI agents daily, experiments with every new AI coding tool, understands Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor/Windsurf deeply, and can establish team standards for AI collaboration (CLAUDE.md/AGENTS.md, agent workflows).

But here's the critical part: we need someone who knows how to build production-grade systems with AI, not just MVP prototypes. You should have battle-tested experience implementing AI in large development processes while maintaining code quality, security, and testability. You know the difference between AI-generated spaghetti code and well-architected AI-assisted development.

You'll be working with existing teams across the organization to incrementally improve and rework parts of our platform: refactoring legacy components, upgrading APIs, modernizing frontend and backend - all with emphasis on performance, security, and maintainability at scale. You'll also be our AI evangelist, helping teams adopt AI-assisted development practices effectively.

What you’ll do

  • Work with teams to incrementally modernize platform components and refactor legacy code.
  • Improve APIs, frontend, backend, and CI/CD; ensure observability and security from day one.
  • Establish AI-assisted development guardrails (Cursor rules, agents.md, code quality gates) and champion these practices across engineering teams.
  • Create testing strategies that work with AI-generated code and prevent regressions.
  • Evaluate new AI dev tools responsibly and help teams adopt them; accelerate delivery without adding tech debt.
  • Run workshops and pair programming sessions showing teams how to use AI tools effectively.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams on technical decisions.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of full-stack experience; shipped and operated production systems at scale.
  • Strong API design/integrations, security fundamentals, testing, and CI/CD.
  • Daily user of AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc.) with clear guardrails.
  • Ability to turn engineering standards into practice and mentor others by example.
  • Clear communication and comfort working directly with product/design/infrastructure.

Tech baseline (preferred)

  • Frontend: React, TypeScript, shadcn/ui, Tailwind CSS (Angular knowledge is a strong plus).
  • Backend: Python (FastAPI), Node.js; OpenAPI/Swagger for auto-docs.
  • Ops: Version control (GitHub/GitLab), containerization (Docker/K8S), monitoring & alerting (PLG/LGTM Stack).

(We’ll finalize choices together - expect to influence the stack.)

  • You'll work directly with multiple engineering teams; be an embedded advisor and contributor.

  • We have our team of AI developers, and you will be part of the team working with other teams across the organization, where you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with them.
