We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Fuel Systems Engineer to help us architect and manage the fuel systems for our aircraft programs. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, analysis, and optimization efforts for fuel systems across various projects, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and program goals.
Alongside expertise in fuel systems, the ideal candidate should be a first principles thinker with a strong collaborative mindset that is not afraid to reimagine traditional engineering with bold, creative problem-solving.
Role Overview
As part of a fast-paced innovative team shaping the future of flight, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our engineering team to design, analyze and integrate the fuel storage and delivery systems on Overture and future aircraft programs. This role involves the end-to-end design, manufacturing, integration, and testing of a clean-sheet fuel system for Boom. You’ll play a critical part in developing fuel systems for engines, vehicles, and industrial applications— including pumps, filters, tanks, and delivery components. You will be responsible for conducting performance analysis for maximum optimization, emission control, and system durability, while also managing key other areas to include:

Compensation
The Base Salary Range for this position is $133,000 - $173,000 per year. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Boom’s total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include long term incentives/equity, a flexible PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
