This role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver mission-critical frontend experiences for a synthetic monitoring platform used worldwide to ensure high-performing, resilient systems. You will work on complex, high-scale applications that serve thousands of users and billions of synthetic tests monthly, collaborating closely with product, UX, and backend teams. The role emphasizes customer-focused development, delivering seamless, intuitive interfaces, and iterating on features using data-driven feedback. Operating in a fully remote, innovation-driven environment, you will contribute to both open-source and internal projects, influence engineering standards, and mentor peers while working on technologies like TypeScript, React, and modern monitoring tools.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend features for synthetic monitoring applications using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product management and UX teams to translate user needs into intuitive and performant interfaces.
• Lead projects from ideation through delivery, ensuring quality, scalability, and impact on customer experience.
• Analyze feature performance, gather feedback, and iterate to improve usability and reliability.
• Contribute to a positive team culture, promoting collaboration, transparency, and psychological safety in a remote-first environment.
• Work closely with backend teams (primarily Golang) and observability platforms to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
• Participate in open-source contributions and internal tooling projects to enhance product capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of modern frontend development patterns, state management, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in collaboration with backend services, REST/GraphQL APIs, and observability/monitoring systems.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to gather requirements, advocate for users, and deliver high-quality experiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and pragmatic approach to breaking down complex challenges into iterative, testable solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in a fully remote, cross-functional team environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while remaining aligned with team goals.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with metrics collection, visualization, and alerting concepts.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
• Exposure to backend languages like Go or full-stack development.
• Experience using or contributing to observability tools like Grafana or k6.
