We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and collaborative Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Product Engineering team!

Your responsibilities

You will join a cross-functional team that builds and maintains the Plan A Product help improve Plan A's frontend architecture, improving interactions and user experience on the carbon accounting platform

• Create flexible, maintainable, and reusable features that help users along their carbon accounting and decarbonisation journey
• Collaborate with the other Frontend and Backend engineers in your team, as well as the Data, Platform and QA engineers from other Engineering teams on features and technical improvements 
• Plan and implement features together with design, and product, to make pragmatic decisions and contribute to technology and architecture decisions
• Promote best practices and methodologies within the Frontend development team
• Foster a healthy and collaborative development environment through mentorship, transparent feedback and communication

Requirements

• Highly proficient in CSS3, HTML5, and TypeScript
• Strong experience with React and SASS / SCSS
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional feature implementation, including leading the planning, implementation and release phase
• Experience working in an agile Product development environment
• Strong focus on scalability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability of the product
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal English

What makes you stand out

• Experience with micro-frontend architecture such as single-spa
• Experience with libraries such as TanStack, RTK, or Recharts
• Proven experience leading projects or teams
