Senior Front-end Software Engineer (HeyPolo)

We’re building HeyPolo – a privacy-first smart location-sharing app that helps families and friends stay connected, safe, and in control. HeyPolo is designed for meaningful connection without intrusive tracking: real-time updates, consent-based sharing, and intuitive safety features that put users in charge of their data and peace of mind. Own the entire frontend, from architecture and development to ongoing maintenance of our web applications;

Develop a long-term vision for our frontend technology and ensure it scales with our growth;

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards;

Work closely with the backend team, product managers, and marketing to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Extensive experience as a Frontend Engineer with React (Next.js would be a plus);

Strong understanding of frontend architecture patterns and best practices;

Experience building and deploying web applications from scratch;

Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility;

Experience with SEO best practices;

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills;

Comfortable with ambiguity, changing requirements, and the fast-paced environment of a startup.
