Senior Front-End Engineer

TLDR

Lead frontend development and UI standards for an innovative software solution transforming aviation workflows while collaborating with design and backend teams.

Who We Are and What We're Building

At Goodwin, we build software for companies that sell private charter flights.

Today, brokers and operators still coordinate trips through spreadsheets, email threads, and phone calls. We’re replacing that manual back-and-forth with structured, real-time workflows that make pricing, availability, and logistics fast and reliable.

The problems we solve are complex and detail-heavy. Accuracy matters because flights are high-stakes. Speed matters because clients expect answers immediately. Our goal is to turn messy operational workflows into software aviation teams trust to run their business.

Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, Goodwin is a fast-growing, distributed team across the U.S., combining aviation expertise with modern product and engineering talent.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Loves building new screens from scratch
  • Cares about pixel precision and visual polish
  • Thinks deeply about user flow and interaction design
  • Can raise the bar for the entire Web team

What Does Success Look Like in This Role?

  • You’re curious about our users. You dig into how brokers and operators work so you can build smarter, more intuitive interfaces
  • You sweat the small stuff! You care about details in motion, clarity in copy, balance in layout
  • You take ownership when issues arise and help drive them to resolution.
  • You actively use AI to speed up development, reduce friction, and raise the quality of your work
  • You consistently hit your deadlines (We know, it sounds basic! But it matters.) Your team and our customers count on you to deliver what you commit to, so your work keeps moving and momentum stays strong.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of proven experience in a front-end development role

  • Comfortable providing technical direction and elevating frontend standards across a team
  • Proven ability to optimize frontend performance and rendering efficiency
  • Bonus: Experience in fintech or AI-powered apps
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
