Arke is actively searching for a highly skilled Senior Front-end developer in Brazil. You'll lead front-end development initiatives within a collaborative team environment, working directly with our Brazil Country Head and fellow developers. Your expertise will guide the creation of intuitive, appealing, and performant web applications for our clients. Ideal candidates will have a passion for innovation, staying ahead of emerging technologies, and mentoring team members.

What You’ll Be Doing

Collaborate with clients and lead team members through the design and implementation of high-quality solutions based on technical and business requirements
Drive the adoption of modern development standards, tools, and frameworks to ensure the highest quality output
Produce detailed documentation, test plans, and maintain well-documented, clean, and efficient code
Actively mentor junior and mid-level team members, promoting best practices and professional growth
Foster trusted partnerships with coworkers and clients
Develop interactive prototypes to explore innovative UI solutions
Develop tested and documented TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Build responsive and cross-browser compatible applications optimized for desktop and mobile
Adhere strictly to branding guidelines and UX standards
Serve as a trusted advisor, maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders, peers, and management

What We’d Love to See

5+ years of professional front-end development experience
Deep proficiency with HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
Extensive experience with React, including complex state management and architecture
Proficient with Git workflows and branch strategies
Strong capabilities in browser testing, debugging, and performance optimization
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
Advanced understanding of UI/UX principles, design patterns, and responsive design
Solid knowledge of SEO best practices
Intermediate spoken English, fluent in written English

Soft Skills

Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Have excellent analytical and multitasking skills
Be reliable and dependable, consistently meeting deadlines and commitments

Nice to have

Professional experience with Next.js
Experience with additional front-end frameworks
Experience with various with content management systems (CMS)
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related fields
