About the Role

Our implementation model is built around two core roles:

• Forward Deployed Analytics Engineer
• Forward Deployed Data Scientist

As a Senior Forward Deployed Data Scientist, you lead the AI transformation journey for our most strategic customers. This is not just a modeling role. You operate at the intersection of AI architecture, executive advisory, and high-stakes implementation.

Once a customer’s Data Platform is live in Arkham, you take ownership of delivering and expanding high-impact AI use cases. You partner directly with BI, Finance, Operations, and executive stakeholders to:

• Define high-leverage AI opportunities
• Architect robust ML and GenAI solutions
• Deploy production-ready systems
• Drive executive alignment and long-term adoption

You will typically manage 1–6 implementations simultaneously, serving as the senior AI lead and trusted advisor.

What You’ll Work On

Lead High-Impact AI Deployments

• Architect and deploy forecasting, optimization, clustering, and anomaly detection models
• Design and productionize Generative AI workflows
• Implement AI Agents that automate analysis and operational decisions
• Establish best practices for model monitoring, retraining, and governance

Own the First “Aha” Moment

Within 2–4 weeks, you will deliver a fully operational AI solution that solves a core business pain point. This creates internal momentum, executive buy-in, and accelerated expansion across use cases.

Design End-to-End Solutions

• Define data requirements and modeling strategies
• Guide data pipeline development in collaboration with Analytics Engineers
• Ensure scalability, performance, and robustness of deployed systems

Act as a Strategic Advisor

• Translate AI capabilities into P&L impact
• Challenge client assumptions and refine problem framing
• Identify adjacent opportunities for optimization and AI expansion
• Influence executive-level decisions with data-driven insights

Lead Client Adoption & Enablement

• Train technical and business teams on Arkham’s AI capabilities
• Establish feedback loops for continuous improvement
• Drive long-term AI maturity inside client organizations

Elevate Arkham’s Implementation Standards

• Contribute reusable frameworks and modeling templates
• Improve internal best practices for ML deployment and GenAI integration
• Mentor junior Data Scientists and Analytics Engineers

What We Require

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on Data Science experience
• Proven track record delivering production-grade ML systems
• Experience in client-facing or stakeholder-intensive environments

Technical Expertise

• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
• Strong experience with forecasting and time-series models
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised ML
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and prompt engineering
• Familiarity with AI agents and LLM-based workflows
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows

Mathematical & Statistical Foundation

Strong understanding of statistical modeling, optimization techniques, and model evaluation methodologies.

Business Acumen

Ability to translate AI systems into strategic and financial outcomes. You proactively surface insights beyond the original scope and identify new value levers.

• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience driving consensus across IT, Data, and Operations
